LITTLE ADJUSTMENTS

Together, we all can make the world a better place. We don’t have to do anything monumental. We just have to decide to contribute as individuals or as a group to one little thing, to address a need in our different environments. For instance, if there is a drug problem in your locality, your small contribution may simply be to organize the youths and sensitize them on the dangers of drug abuse. What matters here is that you are doing something to change an unwanted status quo in your environment.

You do not have to be perfect to address a problem, so don’t allow your shortcomings to stop you from addressing that need you have identified. There are no perfect humans anywhere, in fact, our imperfections are what makes us human, so do what you can to make your community better.

Contributing your quota to changing your community does not mean that you have all the time in the world; you may be choked with work or other activities you are engaged in, what makes the difference is your commitment to doing something for your community, no matter how busy your life is.

Have you decided today to create room for others in your schedule? Well, you should. I know you could be very busy and may not have considered doing this before now, but remember this, although your ideas, actions, and other contributions may not look important to you, they may be of great importance to someone else, so do not hold it back, give it out!

Have a joy-filled week as you make this little but necessary adjustment to your schedule.
