Life of gratitude

gratitude, grateful, prayer-1251137.jpg

Celebrate your victories while waiting for new ones to happen. Be grateful for the opportunities you had and converted, which made you record your successes. Remember that though you have victories that may not look so great to you now, some people would die for the opportunity to have that victory. Be grateful and recognize the people or opportunities that made you what you are today.  Being ungrateful or conceited has a way of closing good doors of opportunities on us. You may not agree with this, but the truth remains that the universe has a way of evening out these things.

Being grateful is a good attribute. Be you an industry leader, a businessperson, a worker etc, irrespective of who you are or what you do, most people will always appreciate and favour grateful people. Mind you, grateful people are people who know how to appreciate true acts of kindness, they are not praise singers or sycophants! They are genuine people living their lives and earning a decent living. Peradventure you lack this quality, it is not too late to make a conscious effort to develop this habit.

One other important reason for living a life of gratitude is that it keeps you mentally and emotionally balanced. People often go into depression when they are not happy with what they have or what is going on in their lives at that moment, they often focus excessively on what is “wrong” in their lives, and this of course does not give them room to think about other aspects of their life that are going well.

Do you want to start living a life of gratitude? If you do, then start today to make a list of what you are grateful for. Do this every day or every time life gets too overwhelming. I hope you truly start living the life you deserve; you deserve to live a beautiful life.
