It Is Time

Every time you give yourself reasons why you can’t do what will make your life better, you unconsciously resign yourself to defeat. It is not that the reasons your mind has articulated as limitations to those actions you intend to take are wrong; it is rather your unwillingness to act despite those limitations that will keep you stuck in a limbo.(You can see the video version of this here-https://youtu.be/-DOGHgERg)

Get up and take action on the situations in your life that make you unhappy. Just try. You may still try, and it doesn’t work out, but that shouldn’t discourage you from trying again! Your life currently may not be what you are proud of. If you continue to hide yourself instead of taking charge of the situation and taking deliberate steps, you will wake up many years later regretting the actions you failed to take. Will it be easy to take these steps now? It may not. It can help to draw up a plan and take baby steps. Taking these small steps sets you in motion to start changing your life. When you can do the small tasks, it gradually prepares you to take the big ones, which are bound to influence the change you desire.

Stop waiting. If you want a better future, the work must begin today. One of the best strategies to begin this change you desire is to start with drawing up a plan, like I mentioned above. Break them up into small achievable steps. Don’t try to do everything at once, you will feel overwhelmed, and you may abandon that plan. I know there is this tendency to feel left behind and thus fall into the temptation to do all at once. I can bet you that is the first recipe for failing or not going through with that plan at all.

Secondly, do these tasks at your best time of the day, when you are functioning at your best. If you decide to do these tasks maybe after a hectic day at work, home, or elsewhere, your body will process these extra tasks as stressors and your mind will involuntarily revolt against them, that way, you become stuck again. Do these tasks daily and gradually gather the momentum to dive in fully. I can assure you that with time you will become what you dreamed of.
