Change The World?

peace, nature, mountains, city, silence, change

Do you consider yourself an honest fellow? If you do, then you understand the importance of keeping to your words and not disappointing people who put their trust in you. I also believe that as someone who values and respects honesty, you understand what it means to communicate any change of plans to the people depending on you. If everyone were a bit more considerate of the feelings of others, then we would have a less rancorous world. (You can see the video version of this here-https://youtu.be/vVF3xOMV3as )

Today’s post isn’t intended as a sermon; unfortunately, it might be received as such by many. I just think that we need to take some time to remind ourselves of our humanity. It may look old-fashioned, yet everyone, including the bad eggs amongst us, appreciates when they are treated well by others. Truly, what we all want is to be treated kindly by others. If we all can practice or treat people exactly the way we want to be treated, the world would be a better place.

A better place for you and me, a place where we are comfortable being us, knowing that no harm can come to us just by being who we are. It may sound utopian, but I truly believe that we can create the world we want. It starts by you doing the little things that matter, being deliberate about the way you treat people, spreading love and light everywhere and in every room you enter. You simply do not have to do only the ‘big things’ to change the world; those small acts of kindness may just be what you need to “change the world.” Enter this week with this mindset, adjust your lens, and you may begin to see this world differently, and at that point, your desired change will come.

Have a good week!
