It Is Not Too Early

Financial education is largely overlooked in my community. Infact we only start learning about finances when we are grown, maybe after having completed a degree or a higher educational program. This sometimes have a long term effect on an individual. Imagine learning as an adult what you ought to have learned as a child? You will eventually learn that, but may grapple first with understanding that subject. (You can see the video version of this here-https://youtu.be/XC4t-3QeLrk)

What are you doing today to understand money, investments, finance etc.  Books on finance most times sells better than other books underscoring people’s interests to handle their finances better. I think we should introduce the concept of money and how it is made early on in life. This will help every individual develop a better understanding of financial matters including identifying opportunities and converting those opportunities. There are no bad days to learn something new. If you had issues in the past with your finances or currently have financial issues, feel free to admit you need assistance. It is better to start solving your problem now than later.

The importance of financial education cannot be over-emphasized. So, begin to instill in your kids or teenagers, young adults around you the discipline required to grow money and handle finances better. Don’t say they are too young, you can buy toys, educational materials, etc. that can teach them about finances. You are saving them the pain of learning a hard subject as an adult. Like I already said earlier, if you need help on this issue, meet the right people, pay for the right course, webinars and other resources that can teach you what you need to know.

I can bet you, you won’t be able to recognize the new you, when you invest in the right course. It is not too late to learn, so, start now!

Have a blessed week.
