It is true that nobody owes you anything, it is also true that you owe nobody anything; despite this popular saying I still think we owe the people around us the truth at all times. The truth may not be the easy way out, yet it still remains the best way out. State the fact as it is, give the other party the opportunity to make their decision based on the truth. You may think you are protecting them with an altered fact, but the thing is, you should rather say the truth though it hurts than make someone believe a lie or live a lie. One day the truth may come out, as you cant hide it forever. That same person you were protecting by giving him untrue facts may end up hating you for not giving him the opportunity to choose how to react to the truth that hurts! Yes, the truth may hurt, but I will rather deal with it now, hurt, cry, recover and move on from that episode, than delay the inevitable. Postponing to hurt someone over what they should deal with at that moment may appear sensible to some people, I believe a vast majority of people would rather have that hurtful fact now and deal with it now rather than later. On this, you owe everyone you encounter the truth at all times about the true situation of things.
Some people are under the mistaken belief that the end of everything always justify the means. This slang appears most popular in certain people, but in every society where good virtue is still common-place, the end does not always justify the means. The process is as important as the outcome. So, if you are not proud of the truth of your process, do not celebrate your results. Be transparent, be involved only in activities that you are proud of and can boldly tell people about the process. Like I said earlier, the truth is always the best option. Go for it.
Have a wonderful week!
You too. The truth though it might hurt is always the best way out. 🤗🤗
